Child restraint seat top strap bracket installation procedures are provided to supplement the Owner’s Manual. Beginning with 2001 models, the top strap brackets are factory installed. The child restraint seat top strap assembly is not available as a service part. Contact the child restraint seat manufacturer for recommended top strap information, top strap to child restraint seat installation instructions, and top strap retailers. The top strap brackets can only be installed on vehicles that have nuts welded in place by the factory. The locations of these nuts can be found in the Owner’s Manual (for most 1983 and newer models.) Toyota does not recommend modifying vehicles that do not have nuts welded in place by the factory.

Installation Manual TWM Performance Short Shift Kit 1997-2001 Toyota Camry 1999-2003 Toyota Solara 1. Unscrew the shift knob and remove the boot. 2. 3. Unplug the lighter assembly from the bottom of the cover you just popped out. 4. Remove the 2 screws at the front of the console. 5. Remove the plastic cover in front of the handbrake. 6. Remove the rubber mat, and the two bolts in the storage compartment of the center console. 7. Unclip the plastic connector at the front of the console. 8. Carefully lift and remove the console from the car to allow access to the shift assembly. 9. Remove the clip on the left side of the assembly. 11. Insert a flat head screw driver behind the clip on the right front side of the assembly and pry the clip off.

Usually, there are no additional components which could interfere with installing the kits in this space. However, if components are interefering with mounting the kit, then it must be clarified whether it is still possible to mount this kit or whether these additional parts can be moved accordingly. You must always take care not to interfere with the vehicle parts, e.g. brake hoses, cables etc. These could be jammed or damaged while assembling the kit. The 2010 Toyota Prius ($21,000) comes in trim levels, starting with Prius I. Because Toyota wants to stayfocused on the Prius name, there are no models with names of their own. The engine runs smoothly and is quiet in all but hard acceleration. The engine meets Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle standards but is a bit less fuel- efficient than Toyota claims. The new 2.4-litre four-cylinder develops 157 horsepower and 163 pound-feet of torque for brisk acceleration and pickup. Performance is good enough to suggest reserving the V-6 for people who haul heavy loads. A bit noisy in hard acceleration, this four cylinder is very well adapted to the vehicle and meets the same ULEV standard as the V-6.
